More than 25 years ago, six attorneys started a law firm which quickly developed a national reputation as a preeminent litigation law firm.
Alex M. Michelini
Mr. Michelini joined Connolly Krause as an associate attorney in May 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Michelini served the people of Cook County as an Assistant State’s Attorney for three years. During his time as an ASA, Mr. Michelini gained valuable experience litigating hundreds of bench trials and substantive pretrial motions, in addition to four jury trials. Mr. Michelini also wrote several appellate briefs on behalf of the People while working as a Fellow in the Appellate Division of the CCSAO prior to joining the office as an ASA.
Mr. Michelini graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2017. While at Chicago-Kent, Mr. Michelini was recognized by the Dean’s List and earned a CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Criminal Procedure. While in law school, Mr. Michelini clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Felony Trial Division where he utilized his 711 license to litigate a variety of felony cases. Mr. Michelini earned his B.S in Political Science, Psychology, and Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Mr. Michelini is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. He grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and enjoys spending his free time coaching high school lacrosse and hanging out with his dog.
