Patrick W. Etchingham
Mr. Etchingham joined the Connolly Krause LLC as an associate in May 2015. He began his legal career as a law clerk to a circuit judge in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. Mr. Etchingham attended Chicago-Kent College of Law where he was on the Dean’s List and member of the Moot Court Honor Society, obtaining his J.D. in December of 2015.
During law school, Mr. Etchingham was the president of the Federal Bar Association, where he coordinated and hosted events with members of the local bar, judges, and public and private practitioners. Mr. Etchingham was also a member and editor of the Seventh Circuit Review, a legal journal developed by students of Chicago-Kent. His article, cited below, was published in the journal.
Mr. Etchingham concentrates his work in the areas of intentional torts, premises liability, construction defect and injury, general litigation, and has vigorously advocates for his clients in court and elsewhere. His advocacy has resulted in summary judgment in favor of his clients.
Prior to law school, Mr. Etchingham was a 10th Grade English as a Second Language teacher for three years along the U.S.-Mexico border. He taught English to recent immigrants and is fluent in written and spoken Spanish. Mr. Etchingham lives in Chicago. He enjoys spending time with family and his dog, Liyah.
