Steve Williams joined Connolly Krause LLC as a partner in July 2021.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in political science from DePauw University in 1984 and graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology-Chicago Kent Law School in 1987.

Mr. Williams has practiced in the area of insurance defense litigation since his admission to the bar in 1987 and during that time, he has tried over 50 jury cases to verdict. He has experience in a broad range of subjects, including aeronautical defense, municipal defense, personal injury motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction liability, products liability, and Dram Shop litigation. He is accomplished in all aspects of case development, trial preparation and trial presentation. He has been responsible for training new associates in subjects including use of evidence at trial and trial techniques.

Mr. Williams is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is admitted to the Federal Bar for the Northern District of Illinois. Additionally, he is a member of the Chicago and American Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute and Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He has been ranked as “Preeminent” by his peers through Martindale-Hubble since 2014.
