NOT GUILTY

In November 2009, Gregory V. Ginex successfully co-chaired the defense of Jason Birnholz, M.D., and Diagnostic Ultrasound Consultants in a wrongful birth medical malpractice case. Plaintiffs alleged that had various abnormalities been identified on ultrasound, they would have terminated the pregnancy. Plaintiffs requested $3.8 - $4.2 million from the jury for the past and future costs of caring for their son. The jury returned a verdict in less than one hour in favor of the defense.
