NOT GUILTY
In February 2010, Gregory V. Ginex successfully co-chaired the defense of George Nissan, D.O., Betsy Pepper, M.D. and the Diamond Headache Clinic in a wrongful death medical malpractice case.
Plaintiff alleged that her sixteen year old son was wrongfully prescribed Effexor XR, an antidepressant, for treatment of his migraine headaches. Plaintiff further alleged that the administration of Effexor XR caused plaintiff's decedent to commit suicide on February 4, 2004. Plaintiff requested 2.5 million from the jury.
